All Around Me

My friend Glen is an amazing photographer. When he gives location recommendations, I rarely ever ask questions and just trust his instinct. He recently recommended Bernal Heights as a shooting location, claiming it would give us an awesome view of the city. I've never been there because i’ve heard how busy and loud it can be. I love parks and being out in nature, but want more of a secluded place to relax or have a photoshoot. Well, we went to BH and it was really busy, but was absolutely amazing at the same time! 

I’m wearing this lace suit from House of CB and my bralette and shoes are from Alexander Wang. The hat is from Goorins Bros. I chose to go light on my makeup today cuz I’m wearing all black.. I just really focused on my brows and eyes. I wanted to mix it up some more, so I wore a chunky bracelet with a few thinner ones. I don’t usually do that but I thought it was edgy this time ;)

It was a big walk to get to the top of the park but the view was breathtaking.. You can see the city in a 360 view.  That why I love my city, San Francisco. It’s such a unique blend of everything in one place. So compact but full of life. A melting pot of sorts.

We found this really tall tree with a huge rope swing. I’m telling you.. This swing was giant.. I couldn't even get on the swing on my own. I'm tiny, OK! Glen had to pick me up and put me on the seat lol. It was definitely scary pushing off the ground and swinging through the air. It goes  really far and high.. A lot higher than it seems when you’re on the ground. You can see I have this scared crying face in some of the pics ahahaha, but feeling the free flowing breeze through your hair as you swing so high above the city is so worth it. Once I got over the initial shock of flying through the air, it was absolutely amazing being able to see San Francisco from that perspective.

This my fav outfit, seems like i forgot pants at home huh ahahaha.. I’m wearing Gucci Knee High Boots with an Alice and Olivia Blazer. The silk short is from Fleur du Mal : one of my fav lingerie brand. So soft and hug your body like your lover ;)

Honestly, those boots are not made for hiking.. ahahaha But it was worth getting out there because Glen did such a good job with the photos!

When we came back down, we noticed these red wild flowers next to our cars. They were so perfectly in bloom. It was like looking at a beautiful painting. I took a few extra minutes to get some shots with them. Of course I had to put my red lips on for the occasion ;) FYI: Burberry Velvet Fawn.

Overall, I had an amazing day at the park with my friend Glen :)
